Exclusive Updates on 2012 Nissan NV production date and pictures

We have spoken with our sources from Nissan North America Commercial Vehicles Team and confirmed that the truck will be in production from Januaray, 2011 and will arrive at our showroom in October, 2011. The model year will be 2012.

The NV 2500 High Roof will be available for extensive test-drive at Framingham Nissan this October, contact Alex for more information.

Next scheduled Commercial Trucks will be the smaller Nissan NV 200 from the European market and an electronic version NV truck, which will be sharing the same charging bay with the Nissan Leaf.

You might have heard about Nissan's brand new NV Commercial Vehicle Line, and now you can find them at Framingham Nissan!

We are selected by Nissan North America as one of the only four Nissan Dealers in the Boston Area to carry Nissan's NV Line. The trucks will hit our showroom in December, 2010 and will be priced competitively against Ford and GM's commercial truck.

The first production models in Nissan's new North American CV lineup are the 2011 Nissan NV1500, NV2500 HD and NV3500 HD. They will be available with a choice of 4.0-liter V6 and 5.6-liter V8 engines and in two body styles, Standard Roof (all models) and High Roof (NV2500 HD and NV3500 HD only) - with High Roof models offering stand-up walkthrough/work cargo area capability.

Our General Manager Paul just came back from a regional Nissan Dealers Meeting and here is some insider information you cannot find anywhere else :

• The Nissan CV vans will be the size of a Nissan Titan, it drives more like a Nissan Armada (Nissan's most luxurious SUV) than a regular truck.

• The trucks are very easy to drive around, provides ample leg space for both driver and passenger, it has two 110v plugs and a laptop compartment, the passenger seat is a flat fold down and can be used as a desk.

• The rear door has a 243-degree opening angle with non-intruding hinges, perfect for loading up.

• It's a great vehicle for plumbers, forists, AV installers, contractors, up fitters, etc.
